PPResearch Ltd is a service company offering leading edge geomechanical simulation technologies to the drilling industry. The company was established in 2011, with the goal to develop a unique geomechanical-flow simulator for the oil and gas industry. The code was built from the ground up and accurately describes dynamic pore pressure, deformation and fluid flow processes. The company is actively researching seismic image processing algorithms and tools to facilitate computational aspects of complex drilling and reservoir simulation projects. We are also involved in multiphysics flow simulations in filtration devices for the automotive industry.
We have developed a number of unique numerical codes for various practical engineering problems based on different software technologies. Our service offerings are centered around the finite element and finite volume simulations of relevant multiphysics models and associated pre-and post-processing. Our core consulting expertise is in complex industrial filtration processes as well as 3D stationery and time-dependent geomechanical modeling and reservoir simulation. We perform field-development planning and risk reduction. Seismic data and models are processed via our unique software to directly form the structural framework and mechanical properties of 3D geomechanical models. Time-lapse seismic data can be integrated into time-dependent coupled geomechanical reservoir simulations and associated calibration and predictive workflows.
